Dr Asma Kazmi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine Arts, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (India). Her fields of specialization are: Islamic Art, Portraiture, Landscape,Calligraphy, Miniature Art etc. She completed a Master s level project on Michelangelo in 1994 and Ph.D. thesis on Islamic Art-forms in Iranian Painting in 1998.
