Russia in the 1990s and 2000s saw a rapid process of religious revival. Data from monitoring sociological studies indicate that Russian youth are becoming the main adherents of religion. At the same time, a number of sociologists point out that an objective analysis of the qualitative characteristics of contemporary youth's religiosity refutes conclusions about the process of a spiritual renaissance in Russia. In this context, the study of youth religiosity as exemplified by the Russian student population seems extremely relevant and up-to-date. The monograph analyzes the main conceptual approaches to the consideration of religiosity in the socio-philosophical and sociological subject fields. Based on the experience of studying social attitudes, the main characteristics and characteristics of religiosity are revealed. Factors influencing the formation of religiosity of modern student youth were revealed. The typology of modern student youth by the degree of influence of religiosity on social behavior was carried out. The main stages of spiritual and religious development of young people in Russia are outlined. The monograph is addressed to sociologists and social psychologists.
