After earning degrees in philosophy at Catholic University of America, Washington, DC, and California State University, San Francisco, Lawrence Boesch worked as a fundraiser for public interest groups for over three years, before attending Golden Gate University School of Law, from which he graduated in May 1983. Lawrence practiced civil litigation in the Bay Area for 28 years (1986-2014) before relocating his practice to Southern California, where he worked for law firms in Century City, Calabasas, Beverly Hills, Torrance, and Long Beach. On his retirement in May 2022, he returned to San Jose, California, where he enjoys the company of his wife, two sons and their wives, and two grandchildren.
