Roger Allen has a Masters in American History from Clemson University and has completed his doctoral course work at Georgia Southern University. He is a writer, researcher and columnist for the Statesboro Herald, and has been a writer for several other publications such as Spirit Newspaper, House-Husband, and Community Activist.
