REMEMBERING THE DREAM, A Terrorist Fantasy in One Act, by Gavin Bantock The five remaining members of a Central Asian terrorist group are hiding in a mountain cave. As they discuss whether or not to surrender, they look back and reminisce on their past dreams. This stage drama, written shortly after the 9/11 destruction of the New York Trade Towers in 2001 on the orders of Osama bin Laden, contains both serious discussion and flashes of high comedy, as well as a constant undercurrent of of suspense. Whether or not the terrorists manage to escape to safety as the bombardment of the cave intensifies is not revealed till the very last moments of the play. Published by FIRST SERVANT BOOKS
