This book is part of the first stage of the Project Geomorphometry Applied to Dams for the Evaluation of Agricultural Production Integrated with Aquaculture, developed since 2020 at the Federal University of the Pampa (UNIPAMPA) in the Campi of Uruguaiana and Itaqui, in the Western Frontier of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is a collection of course completion papers, mandatory supervised internships and scientific initiation, developed with undergraduate students of Cartographic and Surveying Engineering and Interdisciplinary in Science and Technology. The project has a partnership with the Integrated Interdisciplinary Laboratory (LABii), which has been developing this theme since its foundation in 2011. In this first stage, the survey of the areas of the water sheets of dams in the municipalities of São Borja, Maçambará, Itaqui, Uruguaiana and Alegrete was carried out using remote sensing techniques. The data revealed that the municipality with the largest number ofdams is Alegrete, while the highest ratio between the area of water sheet and territorial extension was evidenced in Uruguaiana, being about seven times larger than in the other municipalities studied.
