Autorenporträt
Professor Tanay Sidki Uyar received his PhD from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Yildiz Technical University in 1990. He worked as a senior research scientist for the TUBITAK Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey, before becoming an Assistant Professor at Kocaeli University in 1994. He held several teaching and research positions and was working as a Professor of Renewable Energy and Head of Energy Section at Marmara University for twenty years. Professor Uyar is currently a professor in Beykent University in Istanbul, at the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has written over 100 papers, contributed chapters to 30 books, and edited numerous others. Dr Nader Javani is currently a faculty member at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul Turkey, after receiving his PhD in 2013 from Ontario Tech University in Canada. His research interests that underlies in his studies are energy systems modelling and analyses,thermal management systems for Hybrid Electric Vehicles, Latent heat thermal energy storage systems with phase change materials. He has been involved in many international conferences on Energy as a key member of organizing committee and technical chair. He is teaching actively for graduate students.
