How do we heat our homes, light our rooms, and power our cars? With energy! In Renewable Energy: Power the World with Sustainable Fuel, scientists ages 9 to 12 learn how switching from nonrenewable energy sources to renewable ones--solar, wind, biofuel, hydro, and geothermal--can help make our homes, businesses, cities, and world better, healthier places. Hands-on science projects and essential questions offer kids a deep exploration into how we can use energy that's better for living organisms and the whole planet.
