The author was born, March 17, 1941, in a small town in Georgia, southeast of Atlanta. He graduated Valedictorian of his high school class, 1960, during the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement, and the same year that Charlene Hunter-Gault and Hamilton Holmes enrolled at the University of Georgia as its first black students. Although, a Teacher of Social Studies, the Author feels that he is best read as a writer and as an advocate for Civil rights. The most important of all Civil Rights to African Americans, that of Enfranchisement, which is yet unfinished, as of 2007.
