The definitive absences of Basic Education Teachers (PEB) in Belo Horizonte are mostly represented by retirements. Taking into account the enormous importance of education, which is guaranteed as a universal right by the Constitution of the Republic of 1988, it can be said that the absence of these professionals in the classroom can be very harmful to the quality of education. Thus, in view of the definitive and predictable nature of retirement, the book aims to know and analyze the processes of Workforce Planning (TFP) of PEBs. It concludes that it is necessary to restructure the process of replacement of teachers and that the public authorities understand the importance of inserting the workforce planning in the field of education.
