Autorenporträt
Dr. Ariën obtained his PhD in 2005 from the University of Antwerp and did a postdoc at Ghent University looking at the impact of the accessory protein Nef on HIV replication and interactions with cellular cofactors. Currently, Kevin works as a group leader at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp on HIV fitness, transmission and microbicides.
