Recently, there has been a great deal of interest in the notion of sociocriticism and contact between cultures. Writers attempt to present societies within their literary productions by citing their rites, myths and traditions through several elements present in literary works such as space and characters. This study aims to examine the relationship between space and cultures through the characters, based on the description in TOUNSI Youcef's novel entitled "RHAPSODIE DES CONCERTANTS".In this novel, TOUNSI Youcef, with the help of his fictional and real characters, was able to criticise Arab-Algerian society with its modest Bedouin side. Our hypotheses confirm that TOUNSI's choice of space is no accident, as it reveals a great cultural wealth.
