Alisa Von Hagel is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, USA. Her research interests involve biomedical policy and ethics, and reproductive rights. Recently her work has been published in the journals Politics and the Life Sciences and International Journal of Feminist Politics.  Daniela Mansbach is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, USA. Her area of specialization is political theory, especially feminist theory and theories of human rights. Recently her work has been published in the International Journal of Feminist Politics and Journal of Human Rights.
