Autorenporträt
Wyger R.E. Velema, Ph.D. in History, the Johns Hopkins University, has published widely on the history of eighteenth-century political thought. He teaches at the University of Amsterdam and is currently co-director of the NWO research program The First Dutch Democracy: The Political World of the Batavian Republic, 1795-1801.
