Recently, particularly after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, increased attention has been paid to mental health, especially in children and adolescents. Awareness of these issues is already growing, and, owing to the media and social networks, children and adolescents can research mental health issues, using self-monitoring strategies which will encourage them to seek help. In the wake of the global pandemic, we live in a world marked by conflict, violence and uncertainties, and it is increasingly important to investigate variables related to the mental health of children and adolescents, considering all aspects of their lives, and investigating and using multiple methods, respondents and contexts.
