The aim of this book is not only to describe King Saud University (KSU) library but also to identify factors associated with the level of research understanding, the level of recognizing titles and references, and to estimate effect-related odds ratios for searching level in certain areas and institutions. The reason behind such 'spotlights' is the fact that many of beginner researchers receive academic advices before they do research. Despite of these scientific advices, the vast majority of these researchers do not have research understanding because they lack practical experiences and actual field visits. Data suggest that the searching gap is not closed in this regard; that is why, this book provides a practical example whereby KSU library has been chosen as a sample here. The book gives the researcher a detailed map on how and where to find any information in the library starting from the first floor and culminating with the sixth floor. This include comprehensive details and clarifications of locations of journals, periodicals, Arabic and English books, theses and dissertations, authors' cards, bibliographies, etc.
