Most of the drugs today are obtained from natural sources or semi synthetic derivatives of natural products and used in the traditional systems of medicine. Here extraction methods, compound separations, detailed fractionation procedures are explained in a clear way. Various in vitro and in vivo biological testing methods such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antioxidants testing methods have been described. In addition to, antipyretic, anthelminthic, thrombolytic, anti-diarrheal, anxiolytic, anti microbial methods have been jot down to this work. Providing all pharmacological testing methods in one book, will attract the new researchers hopefully.
