Actually, hydrocarbons boiling heat transfer investigation related with applications of heat pipes and thermosyphons as a thermal control systems in refrigeration technology, liquid hydrocarbon gasification, electronic components, fuel cells, etc. Over the past decade compact heat exchangers for miniature heat pumps and refrigerators, gas and cold storage systems with dimensions in the order of centimeters used mainly due to their high thermal efficiencies, small size, low weight, design flexibility. In many branches of industry, low temperature heads and small heat fluxes characterize operating conditions of evaporative heat exchangers. This is also relevant to installations for hydrocarbons gasification. Possible applications of miniature two-phase heat exchangers could be space heating or cooling in vehicles or buildings, microprocessor cooling, fuel cells for transport and portable cooling devices.
