This book is the result of a research work, its objective is to present a proposal to develop the investigative competence in primary education teachers. This research was conducted according to the characteristics of a feasible project in order to solve a problem at the institutional level following the following phases: diagnosis, feasibility study, and design of the proposal. It is based on a literature review and a field study. UPEL Manual (2010).on the other hand, presents the vision of research skills, which according to Bofert (2001) are to stimulate professional growth and personal growth of teachers. Matiguan (2014). It is important to note that competencies have complex characteristics and promote the integration, mobilization and adequacy of skills at the cognitive (learning to know), intrapersonal (learning to be), social (learning to live together) and professional (learning to do) levels. The development of these skills can contribute to raising the quality of education in the teaching and learning processes and promote the development of an investigative culture.
