The manuscript aims to present a complete statistical analysis on a burning issue Reservation Policy in Education and its Future Prospects. Opinions of the respondents are analyzed to present their views using statistical tools. Stratified random sampling has been introduced to collect the sample units from the population consisting the students of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. More than 25 questions have been asked through questionnaire to each of the student selected in the sample and their opinions are analyzed by using the SPSS (Statistical package for social services) software. Pie Charts and Bar Charts with their cross tabulations are used to illustrate the general view of the questions while for some questions we have implemented chi-square to test the independency of the variables. The outcomes of the study can be used by the Govt. Agencies for the proper implementation of the reservation policy.

Dr. Raghaw Raman Sinha is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Dr.B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. Dr. Sinha has completed his Ph.D. in "Sampling" from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India and has a vast experience of using Statistical Tools for Data Analysis and Inference.
