Residual Ridge Resorption is a chronic irreversible cumulative progressive condition of the oral cavity which is multifactorial in origin and is characterized by atrophy and resorption of the alveolar ridge which leads to changes in quantity and quality of the ridge. It differs from one individual to other and also varies at different sites depending upon the factors affecting the resorption rate. Thus the treatment plan should also be modified accordingly considering the factors responsible for Residual Ridge Resorption.
