The aim of the book Resilience and Competitiveness of the Mountain Economy (RCME) was to propose measures to strengthen the business environment in the mountain area in the context of the European Green Agreement, being defined through measures based on synergy and solidarity to improve economic mechanisms in the field of joint activities, but also by intensifying communication and collaboration between the representatives of the Romanian institutions (state institutions involved in the development of policies for the business environment, financial institutions and employers as a representative of the business environment) to improve the stability of the economic and social environment in the mountain area. The book is an invitation for readers to understand elements of the resilience and competitiveness of the mountain economy in the context of funding programs, measures to strengthen the business environment in the mountain area, and the context of the European and Global Environment Agreement.
