Resilience is no longer a foreign concept for many educational professionals and is therefore becoming increasingly important in everyday educational work.Risk and protective factors play a decisive role in the development of resilience. In resilience research, particular attention is paid to existing protective factors. In particular, the six resilience factors of self-perception, self-efficacy, self-control, social competence, adaptive coping skills and problem-solving skills can be specifically strengthened in children. In this book, the promotion of resilience as well as prevention and resilience promotion programs at primary level are examined and quantitative social research is carried out as part of a survey of teachers in order to find out to what extent primary school teachers strengthen the personal protective factors of children for the development of resilience.Action research is also presented in the context of teaching to increase resilience factors. Every child has special abilities and talents. It is important to identify and continuously strengthen these potentials in everyday school life.
