This book will analyse two separate projects, KENSUP developed by the Kenyan government and the Bio-centres developed by Umande Trust, an NGO based in Nairobi, by diving deeper into how the different stakeholders equip the communities in urban insurgent settlements to overcome their unique challenges and subsequently improve their livelihoods.
