David W. Chang, EdD, RRT, is professor of cardiorespiratory care at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Over the years, he has served in different capacities in the American Association for Respiratory Care, Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care, and National Board'for Respiratory Care. Dr. Chang has also authored Clinical Application of Mechanical Ventilation and co-authored Respiratory Critical Care.
