Muyesser Y¿lmaz received her bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul University, Turkey in 2000 and master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Fatih University, Turkey in 2010. The same year, she began her Ph.D. study in drinking water treatment in Environmental Engineering.
