Sugarcane growers might be faced for high cost and low productivity due to absence of full information about newly introduced or adapted early maturing sugarcane varieties for their agronomic performance. Therefore, Determining optimum population density under different intra row spacing and observing ethephon effect on growth parameters, for the newly introduced sugarcane varieties avoids unnecessary wastage of resources and increase productivity per unit area. In general, the research finding indicated that ethephon application at planting does not increase growth parameter which is not responsive to the varieties. On the other hand, Sett spacing influenced neither cane yield nor sugar yield. In this case, partial budget analysis is used since no statistical difference was observed for sugar yield among the tested varieties and intra row set spacing the relative profitability were selected based on comparing the variable costs.
