Mango is propagated through inarching method of grafting in which, one year old seedlings are required. This method is time consuming and laborious. Epicotyl grafting appears to be best remedy for solving these problems. The plants produced by this method are found to be uniform, healthy and requiring less are for propagation and ultimately cheapest in cost. There is possibility of using fresh mango stones of particular variety for raising root stocks and these root stocks are used for grafting of particular varieties, so we can standardize the root stocks.
