Hence, orange flesh sweet potato roots are used to tackle vitamin A deficiency, a major health problem among rural population in most developing countries. Besides, good agronomic practices some advanced crop improvement techniques like application of plant growth substances and appropriate plant protection measures ought to be essentially followed in order to increasethe productivity of sweet potato.A wide range of PGRs are used in sweet potato among all GA3, CCC and 2,4-D can be effectively helpful for improving growth,flowering, yield and quality of sweet potato.
