The origin of this book are in my master's dissertation with the tittle Teacher-Students' relationship and students' academic performance in Tanzania, submitted in the Faculty of Education at St. Augustine University of Tanzania, in September 2019. Being a teacher has contributed immensely to the writing of this book. Between 20013 and 2017, I taught History and Civics in two secondary schools in Dar e salaam, Tanzania. I learned a lot of new strategies to build student- to -student and student- to- teacher relationships as well as increase engagement and learning from the people I interacted with. During that time, I discovered that interaction is an important tool for personal growth and development. Teacher- students' relationship has a potential of encouraging teachers and students to be active members of the classroom. The approach has a positive influence on students' personal and academic performance. This has inspired me to search a deeper insight about Teacher -student'srelationship in schools. In this book you will learn how Students learn and develop better through active interaction with their teachers.
