The total duration of medical treatment varied from 6 to 18 months with a good compliance rate of 80%. Digestive disorders were the most reported adverse events. Elsewhere, visual disorders such as dyschromatopsia and retrobullary optic neuropathy, hepatic cytolysis and cholestasis were reported. Allergic manifestations were noted in one case. Three patients presented a paradoxical reaction. In total, a switch to the dissociated form was recommended in four cases. The treatment failure rate was 13% with surgical management in 8 cases, including 2 cases of recurrence. After cure, two patients presented a recurrence.
