Jacqui M. Rankin is the author of Darkness Forbidden, her first novel published by Scorpius Books in December 2012. Her second novel, Retribution Darkened, and the third novel, Dark Child, completed the trilogy. Her passion for writing began as a child, when she would create stories based around her pets. Her love of the supernatural and paranormal evolved, and she wrote her first full length novel at the age of 15. Now she works as a freelance copy-editor and publisher.
