Retune Your Heart is a beautiful reminder of how the “extra” is everywhere if people are willing to open their eyes and hearts to see it. Life is full of things that, at first glance, seem rather ordinary: a young girl learning to ride a bike with her dad; the bond between an old man and his canine companion; a pair of eighty-year-old lovers still holding hands; sunrises, sunsets, and double rainbows; and the kindness of strangers, to name a few.  But several years ago, Don Blackwell realized that if he paid a little closer attention, opened his eyes and heart just a little wider, every now and then he would see beyond the ordinariness. He would see something “extra.” Turns out, the “extra” is everywhere—and it’s unspeakably beautiful. This inspirational guidebook uses deeply personal stories to provide encouragement to those searching and hungry for hope and provides the wake-up call the world needs concerning mental health. Retune Your Heart stirs the spirits and soothes the soul, urging people to move beyond setbacks and heartbreak, embrace vulnerability, and get back to living their best, most authentic lives.
