Born and raised in Jamaica to Guy and Dian McCallum, Maurice McCallum is an avid reader of fictional and non-fictional stories. A graduate of the Edna Manley School of Drama and the University of the West Indies, Maurice has a flair for the dramatic and enjoys using his imagination to craft the most vivid and interesting stories. Maurice is a teacher of English and Drama and often lends his writing skills in the classroom when the need calls for it. Maurice's passion for writing garnered the attention of international actress, producer, and author, Jacinth Headlam. Impressed with his writing ability, Jacinth gave Maurice an opportunity to pen her personal projects, and quickly rose as her main writer. He was also tapped as a writer for her short film and current feature holiday film, Love After, based on her autobiographyof the same name, which has won multiple awards and gained international acclaim. Maurice's passion for writing has grown into him now becoming a published author and earning him several writing jobs in Film production and TV; such as his new YouTube web series, "I'm A Good Wife" by actress Shari Ellis. When he's not writing, Maurice loves to mentor young children and adolescents into being a betterversion of themselves as future generations of artists and masters of their craft. Like his late father, Maurice loves to impart knowledge and hopes to make a difference in people's lives, as his father did.
