The author was placed in Buckner Orphans Home when she was 18 months old. The facts such as pertinent history of Buckner Orphans Home, and the adoption process are combined with her remembrances and experiences of life in the orphan's home, and with her adopted family. This book is designed to help and strengthen those who want to move forward. To the adoptees who have always felt neither here nor there, having two families but having none. The story is the author's Odyssey from being adopted to her life now. During this time she had numerous reunions of the heart with her birth mother, her adopted mother and others of the family. She has had her own personal reunions of the heart as she overcame struggles with being adopted, with food and alcohol abuse, and learning the joys of having a personal relationship with her savior, Jesus Christ. Traveling with the author through the years will show God-given triumphs over tragedies and will provide support for people in similar circumstances and those estranged from their families. Jerrisue Hash was born in Wichita Co. Texas. She spent her formative years in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Texas Women's University.
