The present pilot clinical study was undertaken to evaluate and compare apexogenesis induced by revascularization, with and without Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) in non vital, immature, anterior teeth. 25 cases comprising of 28 non-vital, immature, maxillary incisors were recruited for the study. The patients were categorized into two groups:- group I in which revascularization was induced without any additional material being introduced into the canal & group II where revascularization was supplemented with platelet rich plasma carried on a collagen sponge. Three of twenty five cases were bilateral, in which both the incisors were grouped into I and II by chit method as mentioned above. The cases were followed up at 6 months and 12 months post treatment both clinically and radiographically by two independent evaluators who were blinded about the treatment groups. Clinical evaluation considered relief of symptoms like pain, absence of swelling, resolution of sinus etc. Radiographic evaluation included periapical healing (PAH), apical closure (AC), root lengthening (RL) and dentinal walls thickening (DWT).
