In recent decades sustainability issues have come to be considered by many companies as essential elements for the survival of both these organisations and human beings. In this area, Reverse Logistics comes into play as an active mechanism for the reuse, recycling and reutilization of products, making sustainability a differential for those who practice it. This book aims to verify whether Micro and Small Enterprises (SMEs) in the region of Bauru/SP face barriers for the implementation of a Reverse Logistics program. The research was carried out in the region of Bauru/SP, as a population of micro and small enterprises (MPEs) of transformation, of several productive segments and in a random way. The results of the survey show that 63% of the surveyed companies say they face barriers to implementing a Reverse Logistics program and that the main barriers are: lack of adequate waste disposal sites; lack of awareness among entrepreneurs and consumers; lack of government incentives; high cost of disposal.
