In addition to corruption, incompetence and immorality, the poor social treatment of members of the judiciary in DR Congo remains the epicenter of judicial groping. The political value of an institution within a nation can be summed up in the degree of respect due to the courts. But the lack of political will on the part of every regime to control the judiciary is unacceptable, and the greed of power must drain it of its existence. The instrumentalization of the judiciary constitutes a permanent danger to the Republic and to the well-being of the Congolese people.
