Indeed, the Multifunctionality of agriculture has been put on the agenda of many national and international conferences. It has been the subject of many debates between international institutions, countries within these institutions, but also between authors in many fields of research. However, these debates are present in many documents but most often in a disparate way. Indeed, it is rare to find a paper that addresses more than one debate related to this notion of multifunctionality of agriculture. In this paper, we propose to review all the debates on multifunctionality and to select the main ones.
