This book is devoted to review on the models of pneumatic tire stress analysis. Firstly, a brief description of the radial tires and bias tires structures is carried out. According to the different analysis method, the models are divided into three categories: physical model, energy model and numerical model. Then a brief review is given on the netting model, membrane model, shell model, composite material model, string model, elliptic cord shape model, and piston-cord model. The basic stress calculation formulas and geometric models are given. The application of FEA models on tire static mechanics, rolling, noise, handling and so on are mentioned.
