Susan Hogan is a Master Herbalist trained in the use of botanicals for optimum health and nutrition. Susan has also served for over 35 years in the management of employee benefit plans, specializing in cost containment. Throughout her career, Susan has provided consulting services to a diverse variety of organizations including: universities, hospitals, Fortune 500 Corporations, and local, state and federally sponsored health plans. Susan was employed by one of the top international consulting firms, where she served as a practice leader in claim auditing. She has also been retained as an independent consultant by several consulting firms, including a premier global brokerage firm, assisting their clients to contain health care costs. Susan began her study of natural healing in 1999, when she realized the best way to reduce health care costs was to prevent them using wholesome resources. She has lectured and written several books and articles to educate the public on natural healing and nutrition. Susan's volunteer activies have included serving as: the president of a non-profit corporation that managed a 35 year old inner city mission house; a board member for over one hundred associated churches that operate public food banks; a trained hospice worker, and an Advanced Master Gardener at Purdue Universities' Cooperative Extension. Susan lives with her daughter in the southern Outer Banks of North Carolina.
