This publication advocates for the use of remote methods for diamondiferous kimberlite exploration. Different techniques including geophysical and remote sensing based have been recommended together with their limitations. New techniques normally not common to diamond exploration are proposed with further research on those recommended. A curious, optimistic but cautious approach and experimentation on which methods could work is proposed by the author. Potential of the government interventions to save the diamond industry are also highlighted. Botswana has been taken as a central location in this particular publication looking at its position across the globe in diamond production and its mining industry's current status.
