This work explores the revitalization of indigenous languages in Zimbabwe, specifically focusing on implementation strategies of TshiVenda and XiChangani languages employed by Great Zimbabwe University. The work sets out to explore the implementation strategies of the two languages in question, the challenges faced during their implementation and finally, mitigation of the challenges faced. The work, therefore, concludes that in order to raise the status of any previously marginalized language, there is need to have an inclusive approach where institutions of learning, private and public departments, communities and regional allies bring efforts together.
