The present work aims at the revitalisation of the Science Park of Caxambu, in the south of Minas Gerais, which intends to restore equipment installed in 1998 in the Parque das Águas, which suffered strong deterioration for almost 20 years. A group of teachers, concerned with the park's administration and also with the socio-political importance of this place, decided to revitalise it, making numerous activities in a non-formal, motivating education that is governed by the principles of Freirian pedagogy, where education awakens in the learner a critical awareness of the political, economic and social reality in which he is inserted. The elaboration of a pedagogical project for a satisfactory use of the Park by students of the public and private network of Caxambu and surroundings, by the local society and by visitors, with the intention of teaching Science (Physics, Biology and Chemistry). In order to ensure an effective use of the park, the proposal is to include the populationof Caxambu in the restoration process, from its initial stages of damage survey, through the technical project and the pedagogical plan for the use of the space.
