S¿NI ¿¿LI¿ MU¿¿APHA was born in Kano, Nigeria in 1946. He was lucky to learn Arabic language up to Secondary school level. After completing his Post-Graduate studies in Community Health, he continued his personal studies of Isl¿m. Remembering the advice of his 'Arabic teacher that 'Arabic is an evaporating language and that one must keep on reading and have a dictionary by his side, for even an 'Arab will not know the meaning of some words, he turned to reading Isl¿mic Jurisprudence from 'Arabic texts.
