Andrew G. Bonnell is Associate Professor of History at the University of Queensland, Australia. He is the author of The People's Stage in Imperial Germany: Social Democracy and Culture, 1890-1914 (2005) and Shylock in Germany: Antisemitism and the German Theatre from the Enlightenment to the Nazis (2008). He is also the editor of several books, including An American Witness in Nazi Frankfurt: The Diaries of Robert W. Heingartner, 1928-1937 (2011), and the History Editor of the Australian Journal of Politics and History.
