Are you a fan of Douglas Adams? Step into the dangerously absurd universe of Rex Dodgers, the galaxy's least likely hero and most improbable spy! He's not suave, he's not subtle, and he's certainly not licensed to kill (not officially, anyway). But when galactic conspiracies, double-crossing aliens, and gold-backed talanta start flying, Rex Dodgers does what he does best: bluff, bungle, and somehow save the day... while occasionally stopping to stash ill-gotten loot in dubious banks on sketchy starships. In the first thrilling issue, Escape from Panorealis, Rex takes on his greatest challenge yet-posing as a plumber at an Erathian embassy (he's never fixed a tap in his life), flooding the place in spectacular fashion, and running for his life with every Erathian guard hot on his trail. His only ally? A dashing smuggler and self-proclaimed gentleman, Karlo Ludyn Schumstren, whose trustworthiness is as questionable as his taste in capes. In the next story, Growling out a half-decent "Arrr", we also get to witness Rex Dodgers' ill-fated attempt at piracy, a role he embraced with the enthusiasm of a man who had once overheard a conversation about pirates in a bar and decided he was now an expert. Unfortunately, his "crew"-a loose assortment of con artists, backstabbers, and one highly suspicious maledroid named Clanky Steve-did not share his vision of a cooperative, mutually beneficial pirating venture. This led to Rex being unceremoniously dumped on a distasteful asteroid (not to be confused with a disastrous asteroid, which, at the very least, has the decency to go out with a dramatic implosion). Armed with nothing but his charm, his slightly battered SpaceGameBoy, exactly one hour of oxygen, and, oh yes, 100 tons of stolen gold hidden in the asteroid's cave, Rex found himself in a bit of a predicament. The gold was a nice touch, of course, but it wasn't exactly portable-especially when you were moments away from asphyxiation and your only backup plan was to glare meaningfully at the stars until something helpful happened. Still, if there was one thing Rex Dodgers knew how to do, it was to turn a bad situation into a slightly different bad situation with a marginally higher chance of survival. Will Rex escape? Will his enemies regret underestimating him? Or will he just lie there, quietly resenting his life choices until the air runs out? Only time, and possibly a cunning plan involving space ferrets so to speak, will tell. Packed with high-octane action, razor-sharp wit and enough chaos to make a black hole blush, Rex Dodgers Mad Spy Adventures Dec 2024 is your ticket to a galaxy where espionage meets idiocy, and somehow, it all works out. Warning: Reading this may cause uncontrollable laughter, a sudden urge to rethink your life's mission and a profound appreciation for the usefulness of towels and cuckoo clocks while travelling through galactic sectors. Grab your copy today, and remember-when the galaxy's in trouble, there's only one man you can count on. Unfortunately, it's Rex Dodgers.
