Day by day, the number of accidents by four wheelers has increased. And the reason for such accident is, the drivers are unaware of some traffic signs and lack of concentration on sign boards. Although all the pedestrian and accident zones have traffic signs, most of the drivers are unable to understand them, visibility of the traffic signs during night times is very difficult and drivers need to concentrate on sign boards while driving. The warning system for four wheeler drivers is embedded with radio frequency. The RFID tags are attached to the road 200 meters prior to the warning areas and the four wheelers are fitted with RFID Readers. When the four wheelers come close to the RFID tags, the RFID reader senses the radio frequency from the RFID tags and warns the driver about the upcoming area. To avoid the unnecessary transmission of alert messages for the vehicles traveling under the speed of 30Kmph, we set a particular threshold value for the vehicle (eg-40 rotations per minute). If the threshold is not achieved by the vehicle; the warning message is not transmitted. Else, a warning message is displayed to the driver along with an alarm sound.
