The development of agriculture has led to the discovery of modern techniques to improve the quantity and quality of the product. One of these techniques is modelling, which is based on the formation of a set of mathematical relationships describing a plant phenomenon. Such as plant growth (phytomere). Agricultural models are produced using plant control methods. We conducted an experiment on six (06) legume species and studied their growth in a hydroponic environment. The seeds were germinated in Petri dishes in a humid environment. The results show the existence of variability for all the traits studied, based on an exponential model. The species used practically the same response strategies to hydroponic growing conditions. The plants showed good root development and high above-ground biomass, indicating that the Fabaceae are well adapted to hydroponics.
