Justin (Juice) Lindorf is a 33 year old male from Utah. He has battled Chronic Lyme disease and Type 1 diabetes since the fall of 2008. Justin went undiagnosed after a series of tick bites for 4 years. He has seen the worst of the healthcare system and experienced severe trauma physically, mentally and emotionally. Justin is the founder of the Lyme Disease Research Foundation, which helps fund diagnostics for patients unable to afford it. He loves to write, work on classic cars, dance, swim, play ping pong, spend time with his dog and his best friends doing almost anything. Justin has been in remission from Lyme disease since September of 2020. Since regaining his health he has been successful in finding happiness and contentment in the most simple things life has to offer, such as being able to work full time, walk outside every morning for his cigarette and coffee and the ability to be spontaneous with how he spends his time without having to worry about scary and painful symptoms dictating his life and activities. Justin spent most of his 20's confined to a chair or hospital beds or treatment centers. Everyday Justin wakes up and feels so lucky and is loudly appreciative to have a chance to be young and love and live his life the way he has always intended before he was robbed by his poor health. Justin lives by his life motto "Never Settle." And while fighting life's battles his war cry is "Keep Fucking Going," and he has survived and is now thriving because of these catchphrases. If Justin had one piece of advice for a Lyme disease patient it would be to Keep Fucking Going! If Justin had one piece of advice for a perfectly healthy person it would be to raise your awareness of just how great mundane life really is, and try to learn to appreciate even the difficult times, because you could wake up one day and spend a decade in a chair unable to care for yourself without any warning. Also, Fuck Lyme disease!
